## Description

Al Wadleigh is a brand that offers the transformative Feldenkrais Method® created by Moshe Feldenkrais, D.Sc. Feldenkrais was an innovator in the fields of movement science, therapeutic approaches, and education. Born in Russia in 1904, he immigrated to Palestine at a young age, displaying his athletic prowess and developing a passion for inner human development. His extensive background in physics and Judo, combined with a deep interest in human development, led him to create the Feldenkrais Method and its components: Awareness Through Movement® and Functional Integration®. Feldenkrais earned his doctorate in physics from the Sorbonne in Paris and became one of the first Europeans to receive a black belt in Judo. During World War II, he worked in antisubmarine research and trained paratroopers. His own recovery from a soccer injury and years of research resulted in the creation of a unique educational system that helps people live more fulfilling lives. Al Wadleigh carries on Feldenkrais' legacy, with highly-trained practitioners worldwide teaching his method. The brand offers a range of products and services, including audio programs, video courses, books, and private lessons. The Feldenkrais Method helps individuals improve the quality of their lives by enhancing their awareness, flexibility, and overall well-being.
