## Description

Acid Bath Publishing is an independent publisher focused on fiction and poetry, with an interest in writing that is clear, candid, vivid and corrosive. Its catalogue includes novels, short-form works and anthologies, such as I Got a Job, Night Terrors, Poor Substitute, Wheel of Light, A Pocket Anthology of Addiction & Recovery, Welcome Back, Frank, Travels & Tribulations, The Worst Best Years and Wage Slaves. The publisher also promotes new releases, including Sadie Maskery’s Overboard, and shares endorsements and updates with readers.

Acid Bath Publishing invites writers to submit work for consideration, including for its forthcoming A Pocket Anthology of Luck & Mis/Fortune. It says it values fresh voices and unique perspectives, and works closely with authors to help bring their creative visions to life. Beyond publishing books, the organisation supports literary activity through open-mic events in York, including events organised with Forge Press and York Writers. Readers and writers can follow its news, submissions and upcoming events through its website and newsletter.
