## Description

ACIMAD is a private, nonprofit home-care association serving Cornouaille in southern Finistère, with local offices in Douarnenez, Quimper and Plogonnec. Established on 1 January 2019 through the merger of ADAPA, ADIMA and ADADOM, it continues services developed by these organisations over more than 50 years. Its mission is to help people remain safely in their own homes throughout life, from birth onward, with care grounded in respect, professionalism and compassionate support.

ACIMAD assists older adults with everyday tasks, home upkeep, social activities and measures to prevent isolation. For people with disabilities, its services include household support, shopping, meal assistance, help with disability-related procedures and participation in social life. It also provides practical, social and administrative assistance to people under 60. Support for families and children can include school transport, homework help, childcare, bathing and meal preparation. The association offers personalised estimates and information about possible financial assistance. Its staff deliver services in clients’ homes across its local service areas, adapting support to different needs and circumstances.
