## Description

AC TJ Jičín is an athletics club based in Jičín, Czech Republic, with organized athletics roots dating to 1914. One of the oldest athletics clubs in the Czech lands, it welcomes participants across age groups, from children’s introductory training through adult and veteran athletics. The club provides training groups and encourages newcomers to attend a first session free of charge. Its approach combines participation for enjoyment with preparation for competitive results, with young athletes central to its current development.

The club’s athletes take part in local, regional, and international competitions, including team championships, multi-event contests, and track races. Recent results include medals, personal records, and a club record in the 100-meter sprint. AC TJ Jičín also maintains a long-standing connection to community sport through the Mikulášský Run at Brada, an annual event established by the club in 1946, which continues today. Its history spans wartime years and successive sporting venues in Jičín. The club is located on Revoluční Street and shares news, documents, and information for members and prospective athletes.
