The Association for Criminal Justice Research and Development (ACJRD) is committed to promoting reform, development, and the effective operation of the criminal justice system. As a company registered in Dublin, Ireland, ACJRD aims to inform the collaborative development of evidence-based policy and practice in criminal justice. By providing a forum for experienced professionals to discuss ways of working and promoting study and research in the field, ACJRD strives to uphold the highest standards of practice. Supported by the Department of Justice, Irish Prison Service, The Probation Service, and the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration, and Youth (DCEDIY), ACJRD works towards its objectives of promoting mutual understanding and finding insights into shared problems.
