## Description

ACOFI, the Asociación Colombiana de Facultades de Ingeniería (Colombian Association of Engineering Faculties), has been promoting the advancement of engineering education since 1975. It leads through its member institutions and actively represents engineering on a national and global scale. ACOFI offers a range of programs and services to support the engineering community. Their programs include the Buscador de Programas en Ingeniería (Engineering Program Finder), which helps individuals find engineering programs in Colombia. They also have specialized chapters, such as the Capítulo de Doctorados en Ingeniería (Doctoral Chapter) and the Capítulo Estudiantil (Student Chapter). ACOFI organizes seminars for teacher training, focusing on topics like women in engineering and professional development. Furthermore, ACOFI facilitates processes of accreditation and promotes international and interinstitutional relations. Through their publications, including the Revista Educación en Ingeniería (Education in Engineering Journal), they provide valuable resources and information to the engineering community.
