## Description

UXAMA is a Navarra-based organization focused on responsible management of mushroom and wild fungi gathering areas. It helps communities and land managers reduce overcrowding, support social harmony, and make the sustainable management of woodland resources more effective. Its services include expert advice and consultancy for establishing and operating regulated mushroom-gathering projects, as well as the creation and management of designated areas.

UXAMA also provides training for beginners and courses in mycological monitoring, guiding, and wardening. For visitors, it organizes woodland outings and activities for people of different ages and experience levels. The organization shares information about regulated gathering areas in Navarra and across Spain, including guidance and links to help people obtain permits. It also studies and proposes ways to commercialize wild mushrooms through the Bosques Comestibles start-up.

Client feedback highlights UXAMA’s work managing the Bigüézal gathering area, monitoring fungal biodiversity in the Itsasondo beech forest, and delivering educational courses and woodland activities. Based in Navarra, UXAMA brings together practical project support, learning, and nature-based experiences.
