## Description

AC Power is a woman-owned, certified B Corporation and brownfield solar developer founded in 2016 by Annika Colston. The company specializes in transforming landfills, contaminated properties, brownfields, and other underused sites into productive clean-energy assets. Working with municipalities, corporations, and private landowners, AC Power develops tailored solar and energy storage solutions that can create revenue, reduce property maintenance costs, support local jobs, and provide communities with clean, discounted power.

Its services span the development process, from initial site assessment through project planning and construction. The team brings expertise in engineering, real estate, law, and finance, and works with partners to address each site’s specific needs. AC Power aims to make complex projects more transparent and efficient while helping property owners put challenging land back to work and advance decarbonization goals. The company reports a development pipeline exceeding 150 megawatts and says its projects power 10,000 homes and businesses. Through its work, AC Power seeks to revitalize communities and accelerate the transition to clean energy.
