## Description

Automobil Clubul Român (ACR) is a Romanian automobile club serving drivers and promoting road safety, motoring education and motorsport. Through its branches and membership programmes, ACR provides practical support for motorists in Romania and across Europe. Its roadside assistance operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and covers a range of vehicle breakdowns and incidents; the club says it resolves more than 40% of assistance cases at the scene. Members can also access free legal consultations from lawyers specialising in automotive matters, along with travel assistance and tailored support during motoring journeys. ACR’s activities extend to road-safety education, driver training, international travel documents, club events and motorsport competitions. The organisation also offers member benefits and discounts, vehicle recovery and towing services, and an online shop. Its communications include the Autoturism magazine, news and road-traffic information. Through these services and initiatives, ACR combines motoring assistance with education, advocacy and activities for the driving community.
