## Description

A Change in Trajectory (ACT) is a dedicated family-oriented agency based in Van Nuys, CA, committed to bridging the developmental gap faced by children with special needs. ACT offers a comprehensive range of in-home, school, clinic, and community-based services tailored for individuals from infancy to adulthood who may be at risk of developmental disabilities or diagnosed with conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, Intellectual Disabilities, and more. Utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), ACT provides evidence-based behavioral treatments designed to facilitate personal growth and encourage positive behavior change. Their offerings include a variety of programs, such as the Infant Development Program, Adaptive Skills Training, and Social Skills Groups, designed to empower individuals and promote independence. ACT fosters a clinician-family partnership model, actively involving parents in the assessment and intervention process to create customized treatment plans. With a focus on enhancing quality of life and promoting inclusivity, ACT envisions a society where every individual with special needs can achieve their full potential and live a meaningful life within a diverse community.
