## Description

Activate is a renowned brand that offers a two-year fellowship program designed to transform technology concepts into real products. Fellows receive essential funding, including a living stipend of $80,000 to $110,000, health insurance stipend, and travel allowance, allowing them to fully focus on their projects. To further support their endeavors, each project receives $100,000 in research funding and access to at least $100,000 in flexible capital. The fellowship fosters a close-knit community of scientists, engineers, and technologists who share knowledge and celebrate each other's successes. Activate also provides an unrivaled network of industry executives, investors, entrepreneurs, and experts who can serve as advisors or partners. Research facilities, startup curriculum tailored for scientists and engineers, and intensive mentorship are additional resources available to fellows. Activate operates in various communities across the United States, including Activate Anywhere, Activate Berkeley, Activate Boston, Activate Houston, and Activate New York. Fellows work across sixteen verticals, addressing climate change and other global challenges. Activate is proudly supported by leading innovation agencies and philanthropies, including the National Science Foundation, DOE Advanced Manufacturing Office, and others. With their comprehensive support, Activate aims to build a sustainable, resilient, and equitable future.
