## Description

ActiveBio Solutions is a biotechnology-focused brand developing multifunctional cosmetic ingredients by transforming agroindustrial byproducts into valuable resources. Its approach combines applied science, green extraction, biorefinery methods and controlled fermentation to create ingredients intended to support effective, more sustainable cosmetic formulations. The company’s work centers on circularity, traceability and the responsible use of natural resources, with a goal of helping move the cosmetics industry toward more conscious production.

Its products include QAC, a botanical complex made from quinoa husk, oat and calendula. Produced using green extraction, it contains bioactive compounds and offers antioxidant, soothing, regenerative, antimicrobial, emulsifying and stabilizing functions. It is designed for applications such as serums, creams, emulsions, toners, cleansers and sun-care products. LactoAC is a postbiotic ferment made from oat and calendula through fermentation with Lactobacillus plantarum, followed by enzymatic lysis. It is developed to help support the skin barrier, hydration and microbiome balance, and is suitable for natural and biotechnology-based cosmetic formulations. Both ingredients are dermatologically tested.
