## Description

Active Inclusion Network is an organisation founded in May 2021 to promote diversity, inclusivity and accessibility in outdoor fitness and adventure. Its mission is to help make the outdoors accessible to all by bringing people together and breaking down barriers to participation. The network connects communities through three initiatives: Muslim Hikers, Muslim Cyclists and Muslim Runners, offering ways to take part in outdoor activities and build a sense of belonging.

The organisation hosts events and adventures in the UK and beyond. Activities featured include hikes in the Peak District, running gatherings and celebrations, and a Himalayan Everest Base Camp trek. Events provide opportunities for participants to explore new places, connect with others and enjoy outdoor fitness. The network also shares news, blog articles and personal stories highlighting resilience, faith, friendship and community among its members. Through its programmes, events and storytelling, Active Inclusion Network supports inclusive outdoor experiences and encourages people from diverse backgrounds to join in.
