## Description

Active Living Research is dedicated to promoting active communities and preventing childhood obesity by translating and disseminating evidence to advocates, policy-makers, and practitioners. Located at the University of California, San Diego, our program staff, led by Program Director James F. Sallis, Ph.D., and Strategic Engagement & Project Manager Amanda Wilson, M.S.R.S., offer a range of services to support our mission.

Our services include research briefs, syntheses, papers, webinars, and more, aimed at assisting individuals and organizations in creating activity-friendly environments in schools, communities, transportation, and parks. We also host events like the Active Living Conference and provide resources for grantees and researchers.

Stay connected with us by signing up for our newsletter and following our blog, MOVE!, where we share insights, events, and success stories in the field of active living. Join us in promoting activity-friendly communities and moving research into action.
