## Description

Active Working is a brand that provides thought leadership and initiatives aimed at reducing prolonged sitting in the workplace. They work in collaboration with government, medical science, health charities, and employers to promote a more active work environment. Numerous international scientific studies have shown that excessive sitting, regardless of physical activity levels, can lead to increased risks of heart disease, diabetes, mental health issues, cancers, backache, thrombosis, obesity, and muscle degeneration. Active Working offers a range of services including introduction seminars, consultancy, assessments, and accreditation to help organizations adopt an active working approach. They also host annual summits and provide resources such as posters and expert statements to raise awareness about the importance of active working. Join the Active Working Network to drive measurable improvements in employee health, productivity, and engagement in your workplace.
