## Description

LitLinks is a creative writing competition for students in Years 7–12 at ACT schools and their teachers. Presented by the ACT Association for the Teaching of English (ACTATE), the program celebrates young writers and provides opportunities to develop and share original stories. Its website features winning entries and results from recent competitions, with an archive of stories and award winners dating from 2018 to 2025. Participants can find information about entering the annual competition, including submission deadlines, while teachers and students can explore writing resources such as an annotated story guide. LitLinks also offers free writing workshops for eligible students, delivered with authors and writing educators; registration is arranged through ACTATE member schools. The program culminates in an awards ceremony recognising successful entrants, and its winning stories are published online. LitLinks is proudly supported by sponsors and acknowledges the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples as traditional custodians, alongside all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first inhabitants of Australia.
