## Description

New Voices Arts, a branch of Act Now Foundation, is a dynamic platform based in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, dedicated to supporting ethnically and racially diverse filmmakers, producers, writers, and actors. With a focus on African-American and African experiences, New Voices Arts aims to foster artistic collaboration and cultural development while embracing transition and change. As the organizers of the highly acclaimed New Voices in Black Cinema Film Festival, New Voices Arts has been showcasing exceptional works from the African and Latino diasporas since 2005. Their events range from the Short Film Collective to A Taste of Fort Greene, Monologue Jams, and the New Voices in Theater Festival. Located in downtown Brooklyn, surrounded by a vibrant artistic community, New Voices Arts remains committed to uplifting emerging artists with relatively low to middle incomes. By providing a nurturing environment and a dedicated venue, they ensure that artists have the opportunity to share their stories and perspectives with a wider audience. Join New Voices Arts and be a part of an inclusive and transformative platform that celebrates diversity in the arts, promoting new voices and narratives in Black cinema and beyond.
