Adabi de México, A.C. Since its establishment in May 2003, Adabi has collaborated with various government agencies, libraries, and private archives to rescue and promote Mexico's documentary, bibliographic, and photographic assets. Thanks to the patronage of Mr. Alfredo Harp Helú, the leadership of Dr. María Isabel Grañén Porrúa, the direction and experience of Dr. Stella María González Cicero, and the methodology of Mr. Jorge Garibay Álvarez, Adabi has successfully rescued and valorized countless historical sources that uphold our national history. The dedicated team at Adabi performs a range of activities, including organizing and stabilizing diverse collections, restoring invaluable documents, and creating consultation resources. They also undertake the essential work of conserving photographic collections and raising awareness about archival, bibliographic, and document preservation issues. Adabi recognizes the critical role played by historians, archivists, restorers, and other specialists in preserving our cultural memory. At Adabi, the preservation, rescue, and promotion of our collective heritage are paramount. Their efforts have been widely recognized, receiving prestigious awards such as the Presea San Rafael Guízar y Valencia, the UNESCO/Jikji Memory of the World Prize, and the Clavis Palafoxianum.
