## Description

Ada Developers Academy is a nonprofit adult education organization working to build a high-quality pipeline into technology careers by removing barriers and cultivating community. Its central offering is a tuition-free, cohort-based coding school where students develop software skills through an immersive learning experience that emphasizes collaboration and community over competition. The academy aims to help people prepare for careers in tech, including those whose backgrounds may not be in technology.

Ada also connects with employers through partnerships. Companies can host interns or hire graduates, gaining developers described as agile and collaborative, with fresh perspectives to contribute to engineering teams. Supporters can help sustain the academy’s tuition-free programs through donations, while volunteers and partners can engage with its work. The organization also offers an Ada Shop and an alum portal as part of its broader community.

Ada reports more than 13 years of cohort-based learning, over 1,200 graduates, a 96% graduation rate, and an average post-graduation salary change of 201%. Its alumni community shares ongoing encouragement, connection, and professional support.
