## Description

Adam Collier Noel is a contemporary fine artist whose work transforms found paper ephemera into energetic, abstract color-scapes. Drawing on an extensive collection of blueprints and other source materials, he creates pieces that evoke the nostalgia of his Midwestern upbringing and reflect the roots of his artistic development. Noel is interested in the meaning embedded in these documents and the histories they carry. By combining paper with paint and other objects, he builds on each material’s original story to create layered, enhanced narratives.

His practice spans mixed media, with work presented in collections and series including Chroma, Mantra, Silhouette, and Archive. Noel’s artistic journey resists easy categorization, developing through an ongoing exploration of different disciplines, subjects, and materials. In addition to individual artworks, his practice includes installations. Visitors can explore his artwork, learn more about his approach, and contact him to inquire about his work. Through repurposed materials and a varied creative practice, Noel connects the visual energy of abstraction with the personal and historical associations held within the objects he uses.
