## Description

Adaptive Fusion Dragon Boat Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Long Beach, California, bringing together para and support paddlers in an inclusive dragon boat team. Formed in 2018 through the coming together of two adaptive paddling clubs, Blind Start and Deaf Dawn, it aims to inspire the growth of adaptive dragon boat teams worldwide and compete at the highest levels. The club holds weekly practices at Mother’s Beach, welcoming people interested in trying the sport.

Adaptive Fusion trains and competes at dragon boat festivals and events locally, nationally, and internationally. Its paddlers have earned national and world championship medals, and team members have been selected to represent the United States in international Paradragon competition. The club supports its athletes through paddling gear, adaptive equipment, race fees, and travel scholarships for para team members. It welcomes community support through donations and sponsorships, which help fund its programs and competition opportunities.
