## Description

ADARRUM is an engaging cultural festival in Brasília, dedicated to celebrating the vibrant world of percussion. Named after a Yoruba term meaning a rhythmic call to the orixás, ADARRUM aims to evoke good energies, diversity, and multiculturalism through its dynamic programming. Now in its third edition, the festival takes place on August 5 and 6, 2023, and is supported by the Cultural Support Fund of the Federal District's Secretary of Culture.

Featuring workshops, musical performances, and interactive sessions, ADARRUM connects Brazilian percussionists with international artists. Participants can learn from esteemed masters like Mestre Jackson, who explores the origins of Bahian percussion, and Mestre Pablo, who shares the enchanting world of samba. Workshops also include traditional Afro-Brazilian rhythms, providing insights into cultural exchange and artistic heritage.

Set in the scenic Parque da Cidade, the festival promises an immersive experience for percussion enthusiasts of all levels, fostering a deeper understanding of rhythmic traditions and contemporary interpretations. Prepare for a rhythmic journey that celebrates the communal bonds forged through music.
