Inspired by the founder Kathleen's experience as a mother of a child with a developmental disability, Ada's Cafe was established to create opportunities for people with special needs to learn cooking skills and be independent. Starting as a cafe at Charlie's high school, Ada's Cafe is now a thriving business run collaboratively by students in the special day class and their high school peers.
