## Description

The ADCK – Tjibaou Cultural Centre is a cultural institution dedicated to the promotion and transmission of Kanak and Pacific arts and heritage. Through exhibitions, educational activities and access to its media library, the centre connects visitors with the region’s diverse cultures, histories and contemporary creative practices.

Its programme includes temporary exhibitions, such as presentations of contemporary Kanak artists and works from the Contemporary Kanak and Oceanian Art Collection (FACKO). Exhibitions explore themes ranging from Pacific artistic exchange to the spiritual relationship between Kanak culture and the forest, bringing together traditional and contemporary art, poetry, botany and ethnology. The centre also hosts cultural events, including monthly Oceanian storytelling sessions for children, with books available to consult or borrow.

Visitors can explore the exhibitions with support from cultural mediation staff, while the media library provides additional resources. Located in New Caledonia, the Tjibaou Cultural Centre offers a space for artistic discovery, cultural dialogue and learning, with programming that celebrates the vitality and diversity of Kanak and Oceanian expression.
