Welcome to Addison's, Knoxville's premier independent bookstore and event space. Located at 126 S Gay Street, Addison's is a treasure trove of rare and old books that will enchant book lovers of all kinds. Step into our two-story store and explore the extensive collection of antiquarian books on the main floor. Here, a long library table offers a perfect space for studying or working, while comfortable leather chairs beckon you to indulge in some leisurely reading. 

But Addison's is more than just a bookstore. We also host a variety of events, get-togethers, and educational classes. Whether you're looking for a cozy venue to rent for a special occasion or wanting to expand your knowledge through our classes, Addison's has you covered. And while you're here, don't forget to visit our inviting bar area on the main floor, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or hot tea.
