## Description

ADDP (Asian Disability Development Projects) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities in Asia, fostering their independence and societal participation. Established in 1992, the organization operates from its headquarters in Tokyo, Japan, and has branch offices in Laos, where it focuses on various initiatives to break down barriers that hinder disabled individuals from fully engaging in society.

ADDP's activities include supporting sports for people with disabilities such as para powerlifting, wheelchair basketball, and goalball. Moreover, the organization conducts leadership training seminars across several Southeast Asian countries, providing education and employment assistance, and promoting inclusive education. They are committed to raising awareness and combating social inequalities faced by disabled individuals.

With a small team of dedicated staff and collaborations with local organizations, ADDP strives to create an inclusive environment by offering diverse support services while hosting events that enhance community involvement. Through their impactful programs, ADDP continues to advocate for change and empower disabled individuals to lead fulfilling lives.
