ADEPT, the Association of Directors of Environment, Economy, Planning & Transport, is a voluntary membership organisation representing local authority place directors and their teams across England. Its members include directors from county, unitary, metropolitan and combined authorities, as well as sub-national transport bodies and corporate partners. Together, they oversee services affecting more than 42 million people, manage 164,000 miles of road and handle around 65% of England’s recycled waste.
