## Description

ADERMUR, the Association for Dependency in the Region of Murcia, represents businesses and organizations that provide care and support for dependent people, particularly older adults. Its mission is to promote their wellbeing, uphold quality care and improve quality of life by defending the interests of its members and the people they serve before public authorities and other parties. The association reports that its network manages more than 4,009 places for older people, including 677 day-centre places, and employs over 2,282 workers.

ADERMUR supports members through professional representation, sector information and advice, and by communicating industry concerns to public bodies. It also promotes training, encourages compliance with applicable laws and standards, and seeks agreements with suppliers to secure beneficial conditions for members. The association organizes and participates in conferences, seminars, campaigns and other activities, while fostering the exchange of information and experience among care providers.
