## Description

Ad Est dell’Equatore is an Italian independent book publisher and bookseller founded in 2008 in Ponticelli. Its beginnings were modest: the founders recall selling books from the back of a tailor’s shop and traveling with them on an Indian Vespa. That independent spirit continues to shape the brand’s approach. It selects and publishes books it describes as honest and distinctive, seeking to bring authors closer to readers and to offer stories capable of imagining a better world.

The company’s online catalog features titles across a varied range of contemporary Italian writing, including fiction and works by authors such as Adriano Angelini Sut, Diego Davide, Gianluca Spera, Christian De Iuliis, Rocco Brindisi, and Enrico Careri. Featured books include La ballata di Berenice, De guallera, Delitto di una notte di mezza estate, 1994, Diario Torinese, and Sogni inventati di uomini illustri. Customers can browse the catalog, search for books, and purchase them through the online shop, with account creation and cart and checkout functions available.
