## Description

Ad Lumens is an independent game and procedural-generation project focused on creating an expansive universe and the foundations of a browser-based multiplayer game. Still in active development, it uses a custom, server-authoritative engine: galaxies, stars, planets, atmospheres, and other details are generated on the server and streamed to a lightweight browser client, with no installation required.

Visitors can explore procedurally generated systems through the Data Explorer and immersive 3D Explorer, browse an evolving codex of entities, factions, sciences, and future technologies, and experiment with tools for adjusting star systems. The site also features a development log documenting technical challenges, ideas, and progress.

The universe is already playable for exploration, while game systems—including entity management, persistence, networking, player interaction, and basic survival and growth mechanics—are under development. Ad Lumens is not yet a finished game, and its eventual multiplayer ambitions remain a work in progress. The project is presented as an ongoing experiment, with new features and tools added as development continues.
