## Description

ADOS Brescia APS is a social promotion association supporting women who have undergone breast surgery, with a focus on wellbeing beyond hospital treatment. Based in Brescia and active for more than 35 years, it offers a welcoming community where members can share experiences, emotions and practical encouragement through mutual support. The association also welcomes women at the Breast Unit of ASST Spedali Civili di Brescia, helping them learn from the experience of others.

Its activities combine social connection, physical wellbeing and information. Members can take part in weekly aquagym and adapted physical activity sessions designed for women after breast cancer treatment. The association organizes informal gatherings, including seasonal celebrations, as well as cultural meetings and participation in public events such as the Corsa Rosa and Race for the Cure. In 2025, it worked with Bresciastory APS and the hospital’s specialist rehabilitation service on “Brescia che riabilita,” a project highlighting the role of physical activity in health and rehabilitation.
