## Description

ADSBItalia is an international flight-tracking network founded in Italy and built through contributions from independent receiver operators and aviation enthusiasts. It connects stations around the world to provide a shared, near-real-time view of air traffic. The network combines ADS-B data, which aircraft transmit directly, with MLAT positions calculated from signals received by multiple synchronized stations. It also supports aviation data services covering VHF ACARS, VDL Mode 2, HFDL shortwave and Satcom live telemetry.

Feeders can contribute data from compatible ADS-B receivers and setups using systems such as readsb, dump1090 or Ultrafeeder. ADSBItalia receives a copy of a station’s feed, so operators can keep their existing installations; no router port forwarding is required. MLAT participation is optional and requires accurate station coordinates and altitude.

The project offers a live map, network statistics, setup guidance, API and data information, and technical support for new stations and configurations. Community channels help feeder operators and enthusiasts share updates, discuss technical topics and seek assistance.
