## Description

The Second Generation Study, a part of the Study of Adult Development, focuses on the children of the original participants. This project aims to uncover the impact of childhood experiences on midlife health. With the support of the National Institute on Aging, the study utilizes a vast data set to create a comprehensive model of how early events shape well-being in midlife. As part of this ongoing research, participants will receive an annual study newsletter, providing updates on the progress and surveying phase. Conveniently conducted online and in accordance with HIPPA regulations, the Qualtrics survey ensures ease of participation. Currently, 576 study members have expressed interest in continuing their involvement, but with an estimated 2,000 children from the Grant and Glueck cohorts across the United States, the project eagerly looks forward to hearing from all of them. By studying the Second Generation, this research endeavor offers invaluable insights into aging across the lifespan.
