Advanced Genomic Technology (AGT) is a biotechnology company based in Louisville, Kentucky. Founded in December 2005 by Dr. Eugenia Wang, AGT's mission is to develop and market a non-invasive, blood-based test for the diagnosis and prognosis of Alzheimer's disease (AD) and other related conditions.

AGT is focused on developing screening tests that are based on microRNA biomarkers found in the blood. These biomarkers can differentiate individuals currently suffering from AD into three stages: mild, moderate, and severe, as well as distinguish them from individuals with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and the ADAR group. This breakthrough allows for better staging and personalized treatment plans.

With the global potential market for AD screening tests increasing rapidly due to aging baby boomers, AGT aims to meet the demand for accurate and non-invasive diagnostic tools. AGT has quickly expanded to 10 employees and has received small business innovation research grants from the National Institutes of Health and the Kentucky State Technology Corporation.
