## Description

AEAR, also known as Animal Education & Rescue, is a not-for-profit organization based in Illinois. As a unique Humane Society, AEAR goes beyond finding homes for rescue pets. They are dedicated to helping the community through their main programs. A key focus of their work is education, therapy, and rescue, with the aim of bringing people and pets together. AEAR offers a range of services and initiatives to achieve this goal. Additionally, AEAR provides pet therapy visits to nursing homes and other approved facilities to bring joy and support to individuals in need. They also offer educational programs in local schools and community centers to teach kids about proper pet care. AEAR primarily operates in Lake County and the surrounding areas, emphasizing their commitment to the local community.
