## Description

The Japan AED Foundation is dedicated to enhancing public awareness and education about automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and their critical role in emergency cardiovascular care. Founded in 2016, this nonprofit organization aims to establish a society where every individual is equipped with the knowledge and courage to respond in cardiac emergencies. With nearly 80,000 people experiencing out-of-hospital cardiac arrests annually in Japan, the foundation emphasizes the importance of immediate action before emergency services arrive, highlighting that using an AED can significantly increase survival rates.

The foundation offers various services, including training programs for AED use, educational resources about cardiac arrest, and collaboration with various sectors to promote public access to AEDs. Their mission is to create a safety net through community involvement and empowerment, ensuring that everyone understands the importance and functionality of AEDs. Through ongoing projects and initiatives, the Japan AED Foundation works tirelessly to save lives and reduce sudden cardiac deaths across the nation.
