AEDdonate is a committed brand focused on improving survival rates from out-of-hospital cardiac arrests. Their mission is to support the placement and use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in local communities throughout the UK. By giving communities the opportunity to fundraise or purchase an AED, AEDdonate aims to protect communities from sudden cardiac arrest, the UK's biggest killer. With over 1,900 defibrillators facilitated by AEDdonate, they have made significant progress in achieving their vision. They have successfully installed AEDs in schools, pubs, and communities across the UK. In addition, AEDdonate is a registered charity, which allows them to lower the costs of fundraising for AEDs. The brand's journey has reached several milestones, including charity events, the development of a charity beer, and the opening of charity shops. Their team, led by Jamie Richards, Chief Executive Officer, is dedicated to creating a difference and preventing families from experiencing heartache and devastation. Rachel Richards, Head of Operations, brings her extensive experience as a paramedic to ensure communities are better prepared for medical emergencies. AEDdonate's commitment to their mission remains steadfast, despite the challenges presented by the global pandemic. They continue to provide 24/7 service and funding to support their existing sites and communities.
