## Description

AEFJN, the Africa Europe Faith and Justice Network, is an international network that promotes economic justice between the European Union and sub-Saharan Africa. Established in 1988, AEFJN strives to create a better future for the poor in Africa. At the core of AEFJN are the Antennae, national groups that raise awareness among Christians and religious communities and advocate for Africa-related issues. These Antennae lobby national governments and work closely with the AEFJN International Secretariat in Brussels, which coordinates advocacy efforts and engages with European institutions. In addition to the Antennae, AEFJN has nearly fifty Catholic Religious or Missionary Institutes as members. These members have firsthand experience of life in Africa and maintain strong connections with the people there. Guided by their Christian faith, they have a deep respect for all individuals and work to support those who lack a fair share of resources. The executive team, elected by the General Assembly, provides leadership for the Network's initiatives. With its headquarters in Brussels, AEFJN is committed to promoting corporate justice, food sovereignty, health, and spirituality for the people of Africa.
