AELC Gubbio is a local cancer-support association founded in Gubbio in 1992. Its mission is to promote the development and delivery of a broader oncology support project through cooperation and integration with public institutions. Based at the Gubbio/Gualdo Tadino hospital in Branca, AELC provides practical assistance and information for people affected by cancer and their families.

Since 1993, the association has offered home-based palliative care, helping patients receive support in their own homes. It also provides transport for radiotherapy and a free transport service for patients in Gubbio and the surrounding Apennine area.
