## Description

They prioritize using natural fibers such as hemp, bamboo, and organic cotton in their designs. Collaborating with local artisans, jewelers, and makers who draw inspiration from the natural world, a.ell atelier creates unique and sustainable pieces. Angelique Ell, the founder, owner, and chief designer, grew up in Brookings, Oregon, and studied fashion design in Seattle before moving to Kauai in 1998. The brand initially started with custom orders for wedding dresses and hemp clothing, eventually expanding to include other artisans' work. In 2009, a.ell atelier opened its current location in Old Kapaa Town, Kauai, and in 2014, Angelique expanded back to Oregon, working out of her studio in the Redwoods. With a commitment to quality and craftsmanship, a.ell atelier invites you to explore their collection and experience the beauty of nature in their designs.
