AEMQ, or Association de l'exploration minière du Québec, is dedicated to promoting sustainable and responsible mineral resource exploration in Québec. Founded in 1975 with the aim of boosting mining exploration in Québec and supporting the development of the province's mining entrepreneurship, AEMQ now brings together 1200 individual members, including prospectors, geologists, geophysicists, brokers, tax experts, lawyers, and more, as well as 200 corporate members, including junior and major exploration mining companies, operating companies, geological and geophysical consulting firms, drilling companies, service companies, equipment suppliers, and more. AEMQ strives to promote the essential contribution of mining exploration to the Québec economy.

The association offers various services and resources to its members, including certifications, events like XPLOR Explo Abitibi, publications, news updates, and a blog.
