## Description

Aero Club Reggio Emilia is an aviation club and flight school based at Reggio Emilia Airport in northern Italy. Founded in 1947, it operates at an airfield with an aviation history dating to 1912, once associated with the locally built Reggiane fighter aircraft. Over the decades, the club’s flight school has trained pilots who went on to professional careers in both civil and military aviation.

The school is registered with Italy’s Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC) as Declared Training Organisation IT.DTO.028. It offers theoretical and practical training for the A-PPL private pilot licence and the simplified LAPL licence, as well as further aviation ratings to help pilots develop their skills and experience. The club also welcomes people interested in introductory promotional flights and provides tourist flights across Italy and Europe.

Its aircraft fleet includes Cessna C172 and C150 models, an 8KCAB Super Decathlon, and a Cessna L-19 (O-1E) Bird Dog. Through training, recreational flying and club activities, Aero Club Reggio Emilia serves aspiring pilots and aviation enthusiasts alike.
