## Description

AeroCollect A/S is a Denmark-based company focused on practical air sampling for disease surveillance in animal flocks and herds. Its AeroCollect® technology captures and retains bacteria, viruses and parasites from the air, sampling an entire group of animals rather than relying only on individual-animal tests. Designed as a plug-and-play solution, the sampler can be used on farms within minutes and does not require training or sample preparation.

After collection, the sample is sent to a laboratory, where selected pathogens are tested using quantitative PCR (qPCR). The company says this process provides rapid, reliable results and can support early detection, ideally before clinical symptoms and production losses occur. Routine screening can also help monitor prevalent diseases and test for several diseases at once.

AeroCollect offers air-sampling instruments, sample chambers and starter packages, along with pathogen-specific testing and panels. Its website also provides instructions, scientific papers, disease information, downloads, FAQs and customer testimonials. AeroCollect serves poultry, pig and mink producers and offers contact options for customers seeking a quote or further information.
