## Description

Aeroklub Hranice is a sports flying club and operator of the public domestic airport LKHN in Hranice, Czech Republic. Founded in 1946, it combines a long aviation tradition with an active flying community and offers training, recreational flights, competitions, and club events.

The club provides pilot training for PPL(A) and SPL licences, as well as ultralight and glider instruction. Experienced instructors offer individual-paced training using the club’s aircraft and gliders. Visitors can book introductory flights in a motor aircraft, such as a Cessna, or experience silent flight in a glider, with flight vouchers also available.

Aeroklub Hranice supports gliding and powered aerobatics, hosts club and international competitions, and operates a fleet that includes Cessna 172 and Zlin Z-526 aircraft, alongside Blaník, Discus, and Duo Discus gliders. Its website offers practical airport and pre-flight information, including weather, frequencies, and local airspace updates, as well as live views of the airfield. The club also shares aviation news and welcomes enquiries and feedback from visitors and the surrounding community.
