## Description

ADAM is AerVigil’s mobile, AI-driven air quality monitoring system, developed to help cities, businesses, and communities see and respond to pollution at street level. Instead of relying only on costly fixed stations that cover a small part of a city, ADAM equips existing partner fleets—such as taxis, delivery vehicles, and logistics services—with compact rooftop sensing units. These units measure gases and particulate matter as vehicles travel or are parked.

ADAM’s software uses location, speed, traffic, and weather context to validate measurements and turn them into a citywide air quality map. The resulting data is intended to support urban planning, public health decisions, and regulatory reporting, including CSRD-related workflows. AerVigil also highlights potential applications for public administrations, businesses, industry, real estate, and communities.

The system is in development, with a visual demo based on simulated data rather than live measurements. AerVigil is building ADAM through a grant-backed development program supported by Horizon Europe and the European Innovation Council, and is forming a pilot network with cities and fleet partners.
