## Description

Be In Africa is a registered NGO based in Spain that focuses on sustainable development and cooperation in Uganda. Founded by Mónica de Cossio and Matilde Cano, both experienced aviation professionals, the organization emerged from a transformative volunteer experience in a local orphanage. Be In Africa operates various community development projects, including “BURAHYA,” which supports 52 families across several villages.

One of their flagship initiatives is the “KUSOMA” project, which facilitates educational opportunities for underprivileged children by providing scholarships for various levels, from early childhood to university education. The organization also aims to enhance the overall quality of life through initiatives like “ENYIKARA,” which promotes healthy living by constructing sanitary kitchens, and “OMUKAZI,” which empowers women through artisanal workshops, creating income-generating opportunities.

Be In Africa invites individuals to contribute through donations, becoming mentors, volunteering, or purchasing handmade crafts, ultimately fostering a supportive community and making a lasting impact in Uganda. For more information, visit www.beinafrica.org.
