The association engages in various activities, including programs aimed at leadership development and campaigns to eliminate violence against women and girls.

AFAN actively collaborates with international organizations, public authorities, and non-governmental organizations to create a supportive environment for women in armed forces. They emphasize human rights, equal treatment, and professional ethics. With initiatives reflecting their commitment to peace and security, they believe that women's involvement in leadership roles enhances long-lasting peace.
