## Description

AFANIAD is an association founded in 1970 in Vall d’Uixó, Spain, dedicated to improving the quality of life of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Its work promotes dignity, rights, inclusion and equal opportunities across education, employment, social life and leisure. Guided by the mission and ethical commitments of Plena Inclusión, AFANIAD supports personal autonomy, active participation and the opportunity for each person to shape a fulfilling life.

The association manages Clínica Segarra, a residence and day centre for people with severe intellectual disabilities, as well as AFANIAD Supported Housing, which promotes independent living. Its services also include specialised social support programmes, holiday stays and respite care for individuals and families. Through these resources, AFANIAD aims to provide the support and opportunities people need to participate as full citizens in a fair and inclusive society. The organisation also offers information about its activities, programmes, menus, volunteering and membership, and shares its commitment to transparency and accessible communication.
