Its members view LEGO bricks not only as toys, but as a medium for model building, creativity, and imaginative design. Through their shared interest, they create and present builds that show the possibilities of constructing detailed scenes and models with LEGO elements. A central part of the association’s activity is taking part in exhibitions and events. Its documented appearances span many years and include model-building shows, railway-themed gatherings, fairs, and special exhibitions in locations such as Dresden, Senftenberg, Löbau, Weißwasser, and Schkeuditz. The group also hosts member meetups and social activities, including building competitions and a football tournament, helping adult enthusiasts connect and share their hobby. AFOLs Lausitz provides information about its members, board, association documents, events, and frequently asked questions about building and LEGO parts.
