## Description

Afore Capital is an early-stage investment firm focused on backing founders at the pre-seed stage, often before a company has traction or a fully developed product. The firm describes itself as a $500 million fund and typically invests from $500,000 to more than $2 million, bringing conviction to ideas that are still taking shape. Its team combines product and investment experience, aiming to help founders build from day one and prepare to raise capital later.

Afore emphasizes partnership, candid feedback, and fast decision-making. Rather than concentrating on what might go wrong, it looks for a venture’s potential and works closely with founders, including by asking difficult questions and offering practical support. The firm also runs a Founders-in-Residence program for people with an idea who are unsure whether it is ready for venture capital. Its team includes co-founders and managing partners Gaurav Jain and Anamitra Banerji, alongside investors and a vice president of finance. Through its investing and founder program, Afore supports entrepreneurs as they develop early-stage companies.
